💪 Build Immunity Now: 💪 Don’t get caught by surprise.
September/October are the time to start taking Immune Building Herbs because they need time to build up your system.
✨ I’ll highlight one of the most powerful immune building herbs available and talk about a great immune building formula that includes this herb and several more super immune building herbs in a synergistic combination formula available for sale on my website and Amazon.com
Huang Qi (Radix Astragali), is known to Westerners as Astragalus.
One of the world’s best immune building herbs, Astragalus builds the body’s “Protective Qi” and helps prevent colds. It’s Antibacterial qualities makes it great for preventing the common cold or flu. It can also help prevent seasonal allergies.
Astragalus is most effective when combined in a formula that creates synergistic effects. In fact, most herbs function best in herbal combinations because taking one herb in a large dose can create side effects.
The most powerful combination of herbs for building immunity are Huang Qi (Radix Astragali), Bai Zhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae), Fang Feng (Radix Saposhnikoviae), Wu Wei Zi (Fructus Schisandrae), Dong Chong Xia Cao (Cordyceps), Ling Zhi Reishi (Ganoderma).
The combination can be found in the formula “Immunity” that I offer on my website and on Amazon.com *. It’s based on a formula used for hundreds of years and updated with contemporary powerhouse herbs such as Cordyceps and Reishi.
Research shows that the combination of herbs in “Immunity" increase IgG and IgA production inhibiting viruses and bacteria and increasing immune function.
-When SARS occurred in China, this formula (minus the Cordyceps & Reishi) was the herbal formula recommended by Chinese health authorities to the public for prevention of SARS and has been used to treat colds and flu naturally for many years in China.
About the "Immunity" combination:
Bai Zhu (Atractylodis) - assists Astragalus in strengthening the exterior and boosts spleen qi so that digestion is maximized and nutrients utilized properly.
Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae) stabilizes the exterior and dispels pathogens that may try to enter the body.
Wu Wei Zi (Fructus Schisandrae) boosts the qi of the kidneys and lungs -very important for the root essence of the body’s building and nourishing functions.
Dong Chong Xia Cao (Cordyceps) enhances the yin of the lung and kidney and boosts lung capacity. It is used to combat fatigue and boost immunity.
Ling Zhi Reishi (Ganoderma) is often called “the mushroom of immortality”, so strong is its tonifying effects. It is said to promote longevity by boosting immune system function and prevents abnormal blood vessel formation. It also is said to regenerate the liver, support production of nerve growth and eliminate cancer cells.
More about Astragalus:

Prevention of common colds and influenza: In one study, 540 patients with past histories of frequent common colds and influenza were divided into two groups and received preventative treatment with Huang Qi. Both had 2.7 times lower risk of infection, and a shortened duration of infection.
Antibiotic: Huang Qi has been shown to inhibit the activity of Bacillus dysenteriae [dysentery], Bacillus anthracis [anthrax], β-hemolytic streptococcus [strep], Corynebacterium diphtheriae [diphtheria], Diplococcus pneumoniae [pneumonia], and Staphylococcus aureus [staph infections].
Traditional Chinese herbs have little to no side effects. But, just because these herbal remedies are “plant based” and “natural” doesn’t make them safe to take without the advice and guidance of a licensed herbalist/acupuncturist.
A Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalist/Acupuncturist can also assist you in the right dose of herbs to take, which may seem high if you’re not familiar with natural herbs as medicine. Do a Google search for Acupuncturists in your area and confirm that they are also licensed herbalists.
An Acupuncturist should be licensed by the state and have the degree Dipl. O.M., L.Ac or higher.
